Wandering.

— In my early days living in Los Angeles, for a few years I didn’t have a car. I would just ride around on the Metro bus. All over the city for whatever job I was working. DTLA, Westside, The Valley, Beach Cities. Sometimes it would take like 3-4 hours just to get to a single place… I guess in all honesty, I really didn’t mind. It was all such an adventure.

Parts of LA can feel like a whole other city. Yet your still in the same city. There’s not many places in the experience like that. It’s like falling in love with a few girls at the same time. It’s either total elation or a total headache. I think the reality is it’s both.

I was always excited by the houses. In what place is there featured, Spanish Mission across the street from Georgian Terrace……And the murals. So many great murals……Murals for athletes, activist, movie stars….for Jesus. It was a great time. Sometimes, the the sun is low and your driving in traffic and its quiet I miss those days.
